TO THE
SINT MAARTEN TRAINING FOUNDATION
The Sint Maarten Training Foundation (SMTF) was established in December 2017 in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma to assist hospitality workers who had lost their jobs due to the closure of most hotel properties on the Caribbean island of Sint Maarten...
MISSION STATEMENT
SMTF's mission is to create an academy where professionals of Sint Maarten’s main industries can acquire internationally recognized certifications and improve service standards through theoretical and practical hands-on experience while providing enrolled students with the basic financial means to support themselves and their families.
